The Dose Buddy is an innovative web-based tool designed to assist parents in accurately calculating insulin dosages for their children. Our mission is to enhance diabetes management by providing:
User-friendly insulin dosage calculator
Multilingual support (English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Vietnamese)
Increased accessibility for diverse communities
By bridging language barriers, The Dose Buddy aims to improve healthcare outcomes and reduce disparities in diabetes care.
Switched to using Next.js and shadcn
allowing for improvements in user interface so the web application is more organized and smoother
Added Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole
Added graphs and histories to help provide users with more insight into pediatric insulin trends
NOTE: version does not support pertinence (long term memory) yet and still needs authentication page (will work on these next)
